Takshil Jagani, the visionary behind Studio Figment, is a dynamic architect with a passion for pushing boundaries. Hailing from Surat, he honed his craft at CEPT Ahmedabad during his bachelor’s journey and further expanded his horizons with a master’s degree from UIC Barcelona.
Takshil’s journey has been a tapestry of diverse experiences. He has collaborated with architectural and visualization firms, immersing himself in the realms of architecture, interior design, and planning. His keen eye for detail and relentless pursuit of innovation have shaped Studio Figment’s ethos.

Rooted in a legacy of real estate and shaped by the studios of CEPT Ahmedabad, Jay Patel’s journey brings a rare blend of design sensitivity and business acumen. From the bylanes of Surat to the streets of Europe, his search for architecture has been both inward and expansive—crafting a vision where tradition and innovation meet through design.
A former youngest project lead at CCBA Designs, Pune, and a student of architecture across continents, Jay fuses technical precision with artistic intent. Whether designing a flood-resilient structure in the river islands of the Brahmaputra or a quiet contemplative space in the heart of the city, his work seeks harmony between context, culture, and craft.
Now, as co-founder of Studio Figment, Jay aspires to build more than just buildings—to shape spaces that breathe, hold life, and inspire. He envisions Studio Figment as a multidisciplinary powerhouse at the intersection of architecture, product, and experience design—a practice where art, architecture, and design come together to shape meaningful futures.
